What to Expect From Your Treatment

The Cellfina treatment uses microneedling technology to treat cellulite right at the source.  Since cellulite is caused by connective collagen bands that push fat up underneath the surface of the skin, Cellfina breaks up the bands using microneedling technology.  The needles cause the bands to “snap,” which instantly reduces the appearance of cellulite in the treatment area.

Most patients prefer to treat the buttocks and thighs, as these are the most common areas for cellulite.  Cellfina can also be used on other parts of the body where cellulite occurs (this is decided on a case-by-case basis).

How Long is the Recovery?

There’s no downtime associated with Cellfina treatments; in fact, most patients are able to go back to their normal routines right after the procedure.  Some patients report feeling tender or sore at the treatment site.  These side effects usually take a few days to go away.
